INVISALIGN clear aligners

Invisalign Clear Aligners are one of the most advanced orthodontic treatments available today, helping correct misaligned teeth effectively. The greatest advantage of Invisalign compared to other orthodontic methods is its nearly invisible aligners, offering superior aesthetics. The trays are removable, providing comfort and confidence throughout the treatment process.
WHAT IS ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT?
Orthodontics (or braces treatment) is a method used to correct spacing, protrusion, underbite, crowding, and misalignment of teeth through orthodontic appliances worn regularly in the mouth. These appliances help improve both the appearance of the smile and overall facial aesthetics.

Spacing, protrusion, crowding, and misaligned teeth that require orthodontic treatment
“A beautiful smile defines a person’s appearance.” Well-aligned teeth are an essential part of achieving an attractive look. While cosmetic bonding or veneers may last around 10 years and are only suitable for correcting minor imperfections, orthodontic treatment provides the most comprehensive, effective, and long-lasting solution for significantly misaligned teeth.
Misaligned teeth not only affect aesthetics but also negatively impact chewing function and oral health. Improper bite alignment reduces chewing efficiency, forcing the jaw to work harder in unnatural positions over time, potentially leading to temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain and headaches. In addition, crowded teeth trap food more easily, while toothbrushes often cannot effectively clean these difficult areas, increasing the risk of cavities, gum disease, and periodontitis. Therefore, orthodontic treatment not only creates a beautiful smile but also ensures stronger and healthier teeth.
HIDENTAL OFFERS 2 MAIN TYPES OF ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT
- Fixed orthodontic appliances (traditional braces)
- Invisalign clear aligners.
INVISALIGN CLEAR ALIGNERS – THE MOST ADVANCED ORTHODONTIC METHOD AVAILABLE TODAY
As of December 2018, over 6 million patients worldwide had chosen Invisalign treatment, and this number continues to grow (Source: aligntech.com). Among clear aligner systems, Invisalign offers many outstanding advantages.
This method uses a series of custom-made clear aligners designed specifically for each patient to gradually move teeth into their desired positions. Invisalign trays fit over the entire dental arch and apply gentle pressure points to guide tooth movement. Typically, patients wear approximately 20–40 aligners during treatment, with each aligner worn for about 2 weeks. Patients usually visit the dentist every 6–8 weeks for progress monitoring and adjustments if necessary.
ADVANTAGES OF INVISALIGN CLEAR ALIGNERS
HIGH AESTHETICS
Invisalign aligners are made from nearly invisible plastic material that fits closely to the teeth, providing excellent aesthetics while allowing you to maintain your smile, confidence, and lifestyle throughout treatment.
LESS PAIN, MORE COMFORT
Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign does not irritate the gums or cause mouth ulcers and soreness commonly associated with brackets and wires.
SmartStage® and SmartForce® technologies ensure teeth move gradually, gently, and effectively throughout treatment, making the process more comfortable with less pain.
EASIER EATING AND ORAL HYGIENE
Invisalign aligners are made from flexible SmartTrack® material and can be easily removed and reinserted, allowing patients to enjoy their favorite foods and maintain oral hygiene much more conveniently.
SAFE FOR YOUR HEALTH
The plastic material used to manufacture Invisalign aligners has been approved by the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration), ensuring safety for teeth and gums throughout the treatment process.
CLEAR TREATMENT ROADMAP
ClinCheck software allows you to visualize every stage of treatment and gives you a comprehensive overview of the entire treatment timeline. Traditional braces can usually only provide an estimated duration at the beginning of treatment.
FEWER FOLLOW-UP VISITS
Unlike traditional braces that require visits every 3–4 weeks, Invisalign patients typically only need checkups every 6–8 weeks.

VISUALIZE YOUR RESULTS BEFORE STARTING
You can preview your future smile through 3D simulation even before wearing your first aligner.
Invisalign uses artificial intelligence to generate treatment outcome predictions within minutes after scanning, allowing you to visualize the before-and-after transformation. Patients can easily discuss their expectations with the dentist, enabling a highly personalized treatment plan. ClinCheck software then illustrates how your teeth will move throughout the treatment process.

THE INVISALIGN TREATMENT PROCESS AT HIDENTAL
Step 1: Consultation & Examination
- You discuss your orthodontic concerns and expectations.
- The dentist performs an initial oral examination and identifies existing dental issues.
- Panoramic X-rays are taken.
- A general pre-orthodontic treatment plan is proposed if necessary.
Step 2: Digital Impression, Treatment Proposal & Smile Preview
- The dentist uses the iTero digital scanner (instead of traditional impression materials) to capture detailed digital impressions, evaluate jaw relationships, and determine whether Invisalign is suitable for your case.
- Based on the 3D digital model, the dentist will propose a personalized treatment plan to achieve a beautiful, well-aligned smile.
- You will be able to preview the expected results after orthodontic treatment.
Step 3: Detailed Treatment Planning
- If you agree with the proposed treatment after reviewing the 3D simulation, the dentist will continue collecting and analyzing additional records including cephalometric X-rays and facial/intraoral photographs. Your treatment records will then be submitted to Align Technology in the United States.
- Align Technology will simulate the detailed treatment plan using ClinCheck software and send it back to hiDental.
- The dentist will explain every stage of your treatment in detail, including how your teeth will move, the total number of aligners required, and the estimated treatment duration. You may discuss any concerns or preferences with your dentist.
- If you agree to proceed, you will sign the “Invisalign Treatment Agreement.”
Step 4: Invisalign Aligner Manufacturing
The dentist will submit your aligner fabrication request to Align Technology.
Step 5: Active Treatment
After approximately 3 weeks, your complete set of aligners will arrive at hiDental. The dentist will provide the aligners and begin treatment. Invisalign treatment typically lasts from 6–36 months, with follow-up visits every 6–8 weeks. During the aligner manufacturing period, any necessary preliminary dental treatments such as cleaning or cavity fillings may also be completed.
Step 6: Treatment Completion & Retention
Once your teeth have reached their desired alignment, you will need to wear retainers (which do not move teeth) to maintain the results for approximately 1 year.
